An Exclusive MBA Event Is Coming To Dublin And It’s Perfect If You’re Looking To Take That Next Career Step

James Fenton

Thinking of taking that critical next step in your career? An MBA is exactly what you’re looking for.

Whether you want to increase your salary, climb into a management position or even start your own business, undertaking an MBA can open the door to a whole new world of opportunities.

Sometimes, though, people can find it hard to choose the course that’s right for them. With questions swirling regarding finances, time constraints and other factors, it can all become a bit overwhelming. Which is why an upcoming free event in Dublin is just what you need to point you in the right direction.

Taking place on Monday October 1 at the Marker Hotel in the city centre, registration for the event is already open and interested candidates can sign up here. The evening will be hosted by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), who you might be familiar with as the publishers of the QS World University Rankings. Candidates will be given the chance to air their questions, in personalised 30-minute meetings, to admissions directors from some of the top-ranked business schools in Ireland, the UK and beyond.

Representatives will be on hand from campuses as far away as McGill in Canada and Melbourne Business School, as well Trinity College and UCD here at home, Alliance Manchester, IESE (which has campuses in Barcelona, Madrid, Munich, New York and Sao Paulo) and many more.

As well as the one-on-one Q & A sessions, there will also be an MBA application workshop hosted by Vanderbilt, while a networking hour will allow for more informal conversations with fellow candidates and alumni. A photographer will also be there to take professional headshots.

The event will take place between 6pm and 9.30pm and is open to graduates with at least two years of work experience. If you feel that taking an MBA might be the right move for you, you can register via this link. Who knows, in 20 years’ time, you could be looking back on this decision as the one that moved your career in the right direction.
