Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition and Eatyard have teamed up to bring a brand new flavour experience to the food market for a limited time only.
From now until Sunday May 13, Jameson Caskmates Hop Up Garden will be a celebration of whiskey, craft beer, food and the way in which they all combine. A dedicated Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition bar will be set up at the event which will serve three variations of their latest hoppy spirit. Visitors can also enjoy the whiskey neat to fully appreciate the tasting notes or pair it with a flavoursome Brewtonic beer to enhance the IPA characteristics of the whiskey.
But what is Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition, you ask?
Do you mean to tell us that you haven't been paying attention?! Then I suppose we better catch you up.
The result of a chance conversation over pints between a Jameson distiller and a brewer from a local craft brewery back in 2013, Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition is what happens when you finish this iconic Irish whiskey in IPA barrels. What you're left with is Jameson that retains it signature smoothness while also being invested with refreshing, crisp, hoppy notes.
Stop by and try the new drink Jameson Caskmates, Tonic & Lemon for a sharp yet thirst quenching beverage that excites the palate — a new alternative to your average G&T or hoppy IPA.
But that's not all you can expect
Through educational talks with Brewtonic on the main stage, Hoppy Hours with beer enthusiasts and friends of Jameson, as well as inventive Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition creations by vendors at Eatyard, there'll be plenty happening to keep visitors entertained.
A skeeball stall will also be set up for the market, where those with the best aim will be rewarded with some surprise prizes.
Here's a glimpse of the Jameson Caskmates Hop Up Garden...
All of Eatyard's vendors will get involved too
Every stall present during this brief residency will be contributing to the proceedings, with each individual stand creating its own unique Jameson Caskmates IPA-inspired dish.
You'll be able to enjoy offerings from the likes of Wicklow-based burger bar Box Burger, Just Wing It from Tallaght, Ireland’s first smoothie bowl bar Kale and Coco, Moore Street Mall favourite Mr Donut, eggy delight Blue Hare, Pakistani and Eastern cuisine restaurant Kinara Kitchen, and Dublin’s first purely vegan shop Vish Shop.
Jameson Caskmates Hop Up Garden is now open and will run until Sunday, May 13 at 9-10 South Richmond beside the Bernard Shaw in Dublin 2.
