From Personalised Chocolate To Beauty Treats, This Dublin Store Has Christmas Wrapped Up

Zoe

It’s only been December for a hot – or rather cold – minute but now’s the time to start checking things off that shopping list. Starting to feel a lil bit of that Christmas fear creeping up? Fear not – all you need is one day and one store and you’ll be sorted.

Wonder awaits this Christmas at Arnotts and your eyes will be aglow once you discover all the unique gifts you can pick up for friends and family.

The best part is that it’s all under one roof – happy days! From gifts for her, to gifts for him as well as amazing entertainment each weekend in December and pop-up’s in-store that everyone can enjoy!

Festive fun in 3..2..1..

Entertainment

Along with aaalll the rigmarole that goes hand in hand with Christmas, there’s something great about all the festive entertainment on in the city too.

Santa has officially arrived in Arnotts which means Christmas can begin. A perfect day out for the family, you can come along and enjoy this complementary service. There will also be a photographer on hand to capture the special moment too.

For the month of December, Santa’s Postal Parade will take place every Saturday and Sunday where his elves will march through the store with a brass band as they collect all the letters to Santa from the mail boxes in the store and deliver them to Santa’s Grotto. This sounds so magical.

Not only will Santa be on hand for all his Christmas duties, Mrs. Claus will settle down in the Childrenswear department every Saturday where she will read stories and hold sing-alongs.

I love nothing more than a good choir (harmonies are life) and every Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am – 3.30pm you can enjoy the musical delights the Habemus Choir has to offer. If you’re not already in the Christmas mood, this will take you smack-bang in the middle of it. Star Kids will also be in store each Saturday from 11.30am to 3.30pm providing amazing entertainment, certainly worth stopping by to see.

The Toy Show King himself, Ryan Tubridy will also visit Childrenswear Department this Sunday Dec 9th at 12:15pm and 1:30pm to read some of his favourite children’s stories.

Personalisation

Sometimes, it’s the little things in life and a personalised gift can be very special and thoughtful. Littlesmith hand stamp each piece to create bespoke pieces of jewellery using the old school method of lettering – love!

Each piece is 100% unique and no two pieces are ever the same. You can add names, initials, special dates or words of inspiration, and they won’t cost a bomb. Starting at €33 for a single bar necklace they make for a b-e-a-utiful gift for someone special.

The Glitz N Pieces pop-up in Arnotts also offers a deadly range of personalised gifts, from wallets to phone covers and luggage tags to handbags, you can pop in and have your gift engraved in less than 15mins. Super handy for any last minute shopping.

If you’re looking for a great stocking filler this Christmas, at €25 for a phone case and €35 for a travel tag look no further than these bad boys.

Beauty

The beauty hall in Arnotts is seriously impressive. They have so many amazing brands and have recently added an array of great new brands including Anastasia Beverly Hills, IT Cosmetics, Hourglass, NARS, Huda Beauty and Urban Decay.

There are loads of gifting options here too so it doesn’t matter it you’re picking up something small for Secret Santa or splurging on the ultimate beauty gift set – your gifting needs will well and truly be met.

Foodie Treats

Now, I don’t know about you but for me the best thing about this time of year or Christmas in general is all the unreal food that’s around – and how it’s ok to not feel guilty whilst enjoying it. NOM.

A couple of tempting treats have popped-up in Arnotts this December and they sounds deeeelish. Let me break it down for you:

The ever popular Scrumdiddly’s is back once again with the best ice-cream combinations. From €5 bubble waffles to a ridic hot chocolate for only €3.50 there is something for everyone.

Serving up his Festive Delights, Chef Gary O’ Hanlon brings along his Mince Pies, Mulled Wine Spice Bags and a fab Christmas Pudding with a twist! Starting from €5, why not pick up a few gifts for the foodie lover in your life.

If you’re on the hunt for something a bit random – or utterly amazing – why not pop into Boutique Chocolat and have a photograph printed onto a chocolate bar? At just €20, it’s a perfect gift that’s a little bit different, it’s presented in a gorge box alongside smaller choccies.
