The House Of Peroni Is Returning To Dublin This Month – Here’s Everything You Need To Know

Lovin' Media

One of the most hotly-anticipated food and drink events of the summer is about to make its return to Dublin.

From Thursday, August 22 until Sunday, September 1, 2019, House Of Peroni will take up residence in the Royal Hibernian Academy at Ely Place, Dublin 2 as part of a global House Of Peroni Series, which also sees events taking place in Barcelona, Paris, Stockholm, Santiago and Johannesburg.

The residency will see Royal Hibernian Academy be transformed into a fabulously stylish Peroni-inspired experience.

And what makes this one special? Well, earlier this year, Peroni Nastro Azzurro took nine creatives, known as the Creative Council, to Puglia in Italy.

Among those were three Irish creatives: multi-award-winning designer Roisin Lafferty, chef de partie at Michelin-starred Galway restaurant Aniar Killian Crowley, and creative director of Algorithm, who are widely known for their highly technical and creative productions, Kev Freeney.

Roisin Lafferty will be responsible for making the venue look stunning and will produce a sense of style and finesse by taking inspiration from typical Puglia aesthetics such as refined arches and glistening jewel seascapes.

Meanwhile, Algorithm, who have developed visual installations for festivals such as Body & Soul, Electric Picnic and Longitude, will take inspiration from Kev Freeney’s time in Puglia as well as the true Italian style of Peroni to create an immersive audio-visual experience in the Royal Hibernian Academy.

And Killian Crowley will put together an enticing tasting menu inspired by the simplicity, quality and variety of Puglianese food. Killian will use Irish produce to create some truly authentic Puglianese dishes that are sure to deliver a true taste of Italy.

He will also develop three unique gelato flavours exclusively for House of Peroni – preserved lemon, olive oil and even a Peroni gelato.

Plus, Peroni’s Global Master Bartender, Simone Caporale, has developed two special Peroni infusions for The House of Peroni this year – Libera Lungo and Two Row Trulli. The Libera Lungo celebrates the introduction of Peroni’s new alcohol-free beer. Peroni Brand Ambassador, Federico Riezzo, will also be on hand to serve up Peroni infusions, including the well-loved Peroni Spritz, which always goes down a treat at The House of Peroni.
