Dublin Is Getting A New Controversial Bus That Will Be The Talk Of The City Among Tourists

Darragh Berry

You often see the big tour buses of Dublin doing their thing on a daily basis and while it’s probably never dawned on you to hop on one yourself, it’s a must for any tourists stopping by in the city.

And there’s a new one called ‘Big Bus Tours’ and their promise to anyone who climbs on board is for them to “learn the real meaning of craic,” according to The Irish Independent.

Now that doesn’t phase us but if an American or English tourist hears that, it might leave them scratching their head.

“Craic? Drugs?”

But the craic that Big Bus Tours will provide will be an open-top sightseeing route around the city with free Wi-Fi and guides.

Tickets are just €20 for one day but you can also get two-day and a deluxe 72-hour ticket which provides a night tour and free entry into Pearse Lyons Distillery.

Big Bus Tours – which has already made a name for itself in London, New York and Paris – will go toe-to-toe with ‘Do Dublin’ tours

They hope to get up and running before Christmas and you can find more information on their website here.
