A brand new spot has just opened up on Stephens Green and we went to check it out.
The Well is a new bar and restaurant and there is still a lot more to come.
It is located where the old Dandelion used to be and if you remember it, you’ll remember how big the area is.
When you walk in you will see the size of this room, all decked out with slick interiors including hanging plants and beautiful art pieces.
The first half of the room is the bar area with plenty of seating options, which is going to be a late bar with DJ’s playing Hip-Hop, Funk and Disco.. We opted to try a few cocktails and got the Fajazzle, the Realness and Spritz Please – the Fajazzle was unbelievable.
There are also big tables with plenty of chairs to the right that can be used as a workspace; it would be the perfect spot to pop in and get some things done.
The second half of the room is kitted out to be the restaurant, which has been taken over by Dublin Pizza Company.
Already a well established name, you know exactly what you’re getting as you sit down. We got the always reliable DPC with Dingle Whiskey-cured salami, Coolea cheese shavings and fresh basil.

On top of this, they are currently installing a little coffee shop in the space next to the main room which is set to open in the coming weeks.
Also, there is more than meets the eye here as there is the exact same amount of space, if not more, on the basement level. It should be open in around two months and there are exciting plans in place, so keep your eyes peeled.
