An Artisan Food Market Is Coming To Café En Seine’s Street Garden In September

Kiara Keane

A cute artisan food market will be taking over Café en Seine for one day only next month and it’s a must-visit for foodies.

Taking place on Saturday, September 28 from 12pm to 6pm, the market will be held in the venue’s stunning tree lined street garden and entry is free.

Visitors can shop fresh fish and oysters, boutique wines, mouth-watering cheeses, delectable cakes and sweet treats, gluten free produce, freshly made goods and a whole lot more.

Customers will be able to pop in and meet the makers, taste what our island is producing and learn how to support our own food economy.

It’s all part of Taste the Island, a 12-week celebration of Ireland’s seasonal produce and food experiences, which is kicking off in September.

Some of the great producers confirmed to take part in Café en Seine’s artisan food market so far include Wild About, Corleggy Cheese, Kish Fish seafood market and Boutique Wines, with plenty more still to be announced.

The Dawson Street venue aims to put food to the forefront and showcase some of the suppliers they work with all year round, as well as giving smaller producers a platform.
