Stop The Clampdown On Ireland’s Dog-friendly Cafés And Pubs With This Petition

It recently came out that one of Dublin’s most dog-friendly establishments was forced to ban dogs on their premises, causing outrage among caninophiles throughout the country.

This decision came from the HSE, who are clamping down on dog-friendly premises across Dublin.

This petition on change.org is seeking enough signatures to put a stop to this move and keep these public areas open to canine companions, which currently has 3,162 supporters and has a target of 5,000.

Started by Elsha McKenna, the petition says,

This crackdown really does seem like a step too far, and while current national legislation does unfortunately seem to support it, the legislation is misguided, ill conceived, and the very basis upon which it has been made is shaky at best.
