Just hours after it was confirmed, the Rolling Stones gig at Croke Park could end up being dead in the water.
The veteran rockers confirmed this morning that they will take to the stage at GAA HQ on Thursday May 17. However, a public meeting of the Clonliffe & Croke Park Residents’ Association had already been arranged for later on Monday night to discuss the potential arrangement.
Usually, Croke Park only has permission to stage three concerts per year,an allocation which has already been filled by summer gigs featuring Taylor Swift (June 15 and 16) and Michael Bublé (July 7).
Tonight’s meeting will take place at the Barbara Ward Centre in the Richmond Industrial Estate at 7.30pm.
