This Dublin City Council-funded video focuses of a group of 14 to 21-year-olds, whose families moved to Ireland in search of a better life.
They’ve been here for years. They go to school here, they have lives and friends here, yet are all undocumented. But Ireland is their home.
Their story, as told in this video, will give you goosebumps.
I’ve never told anyone that I’m undocumented. None of my friends know. I feel like I have to hide a part of myself from the people I care about.
The worst part is not being able to move forward. I want to go to college but without papers you face huge fees.
