Glasnevin bridal shop The Bridal Corner has issued a statement notifying customers that it has been forced to close 'due to accumulating debt'.

Posting on Facebook yesterday, the business said 'we would like to apologise for the distress and confusion this has caused to some of our customers' before adding 'the owner has been trying to raise funds to keep the business afloat but that process has proved to be quite difficult.'

While The Bridal Corner has promised to refund deposits for dresses, it states 'that will take some time.' Brides who are due to have weddings before Christmas will be contacted in the coming days, the post adds.
