There is one particular jacket that is rising in popularity and lately it's being called the jacket of the season.
It can be found in almost every single high street shop in the city and everyone is going absolutely crazy for it. In fairness, we can completely see why because its fab.
Just 'cause we love you guys, we took to the streets to find out which shop is the best place to buy this jacket, based on price and quality combined.
You probably already know which jacket we're talking about: this black leather biker jacket...
1. River Island: €120
This is the most expensive version of the jacket that we have seen in the high street shops.
It is missing the buckle-tie at the bottom that every other version of the jacket seems to have. This, in our humble opinion, is definitely not the nicest looking one on the list.
€120 is pretty steep too if you ask us.
2. Topshop: €110
At €110, this is the second most expensive version of the jacket we have seen in high street shops.
There is nicer detail on the cuffs of this one compared to its counter-parts, which is probably why it costs a little bit extra. There is also an extra buckle at the neck.
The outer material on this jacket is suede, which differs from the leather version in most other stores. Suede is probably not the best idea for a wet Irish winter, so we think we might be giving this one a miss.
3. H&M: €99.99
For €99.99, this jacket is pretty fitting with its price because it's great quality.
Though it's missing the buckle at the neck area that the other ones have, the collar detail is still quite nice. This was for sure one of the comfiest versions of the jacket we tried on during our hunt.
4. Zara: €89.95
The Zara version of this seems to be the best quality of all and it's one of the cheapest, hurrah!
The leather is super good quality and the inside of the jacket was definitely one of the cosiest. It's great value for money compared to the other stores and it looks the most expensive.
We are absolutely loving this one!
5. Penneys: €40
And finally, the Penneys version for €40. More than half the price of all the rest, if you wanted this jacket but you're on a budget, this is your answer.
It includes all of the features and it's pretty good quality too.
Just be warned, this will be flying off the shelves, so get it while you can!

Dublin is glutted with literary magazines. They’re ten a penny; if today’s penny is actually €15 each. In 2017 Justine Carbery wrote in The Irish Independent “literary journals proved to be constant stars in a fluctuating market. Ireland, with its rich history of independent literary magazines, finds itself in rude health today with many new […]
