Great Guide – Seven Fascinating Finds In Dublin’s Creative Quarter

Megan Cassidy

Dublin’s Creative Quarter spans from South William St. to George’s Street and from Exchequer St. to Lower Stephen’s St, and is a rabbit hole of creativity and interesting enterprise.

A world of colour, smells and tastes – there’s always something new and captivating to stumble across on a lazy afternoon – and make sure to pop in for a pint of Archway along the way for extra chilled out vibes.

Here are six of our favourite fascinating finds in the most vibrant district in the city.

1. A quick coffee at Frame

As if by magic, framing studio FRAME sell freshly brewed coffee through a tiny window in the front of the shop to passersby.

They also serve brekkie and lunch so that you can peruse one of their exhibitions on a full belly.

5. Dinner at The Green Hen

You’ll easily spot this little gem on Exchequer St thanks to the glaring neon green hen above the door.

It’s “classic French cuisine with an Irish twist” and has some of the nicest interiors in the city.

You’ll be hard pushed to look at your plate with all the countless distractions in the decor – from framed posters to ornate mirrors.

Perfect for a delish dinner before you head for pints.

6. That place where you can get EVERYTHING

Industry Design is a little gem that takes multi-tasking to the max. An eatery and lifestyle store that stocks homewares, gifts, books, lighting, furniture. You’ll easily wile away the hours and the pennies in this spot.

7. Drinks at The Bank Bar

Finish up with a pint in the luxurious surroundings of The Bank Bar on College Green.
