If you’re looking for an evening out with a twist, then this event in Drop Dead Twice might be right up your alley.
On Tuesday, September 10, you can ‘sculpt and gulp’ as Ruairi Butler, who is the prosthetics supervisor for hit shows such as Young Offenders, Love/Hate and Vikings guides you through the steps in sculpting a 1/4 size head (human or creature) while you enjoy a few drinks.
You don’t need any experience to take part, so it’ll be great for a group of pals looking for an alternative evening activity or anyone who wants to live out their dreams of being a master sculptor.
Tickets cost €25 and include everything you need to create your masterpiece: 4oz square piece of beige polymer clay, one disc magnet, all sculpting tools provided, drinks promotion on the night and of course, step by step instruction with Ruairi.
Your sculpture will also be ‘baked’ on the night and if you’re happy with the result, it’s yours to take home, show off to your mates and cherish forever. And if you’re not happy with the results, sure look, it’s a bit of craic.
It’ll take place between 7.30pm until 10pm in Drop Dead Twice, 18-19 Francis Street, Dublin 8.
