Kiara Keane

Paddy’s Day is just around the corner (seriously, where did February go?) which mainly means one thing: plenty of pints.

And with this year being a long weekend thanks to the bank holiday Monday, you’ve even more time to indulge in just that.

But fear not if you’re worried about bankrupting yourself over the weekend because The Sweater Shop has marked the occasion by compiling an incredibly handy list of the 10 cheapest places in the city to get yourself a pint of Guinness.

Coming in at number one with a price tag of just €3.70 is The Snug Bar on Stephen Street Upper, while tenth on the list is The Clock in The Liberties at €4.20.

Here’s the list in full:

1. The Snug Bar €3.70
2. The Portobello €4.00
3. The Auld Triangle €4.00
4. Downey’s, Cabra €4.00

7. The Yacht Public House €4.20
8. Kavanagh’s, Stoneybatter €4.20
