The 10 best things spotted On #Lovindublin this week

niallharbison

We love finding and sharing the best things in Dublin with you here on the blog but we also encourage you guys to take photos with #lovindublin on either Twitter or Instagram. The standard seems to get better every single week and just firing up the Hashtag has us drooling and loving the city we live in. Here are the top 10 things we have spotted you guys sharing this week.

10th.Dubliners love Matcha

Ever since we wrote about it a few months ago Matcha has been exploding in popularity. Dubliner’s just love the natural kick and health benefits that it brings to them.

9th.Shroom Heaven

Simple bit of home cooking here and a bit of breakfast perfection. Emma shared her own awesome mushroom recipe and although we are all about Dublin venues here you can’t beat a bit of cooking at home either.

8th.Popular Little Spot

When we wrote about the Fish shop in Blackrock we knew people would be piling out there en masse to try the incredible fresh delights. Tons of photos pouring in this week.

7th.More Fish Love

We weren’t the only ones writing about it either because the wonderful blog Gin and Griddle got in on the act too. How much fish love can one shed get? Love it.

6th.Epic Steak

The debate about the best steak in Dublin is one that will rage on for eternity but these photos show that FXBs will always have a place pretty high up on that list!

5th.Unusual Salmon

I am a huge fan of smoked salmon and have done a ton of recipes here that feature it. The problem is that it gets a little boring but this is a great way of making it look different. Marry it up with beetroot, change the flavour and the colour.

4th.Beautiful Italian

We haven’t had the time to go back since we reviewed it because of the amount of new places opening but as this photo shows the guys over in Di Mimmos are still cooking great food!

3rd.Duck Crossing

2nd Photo we have seen of ducks crossing around the Baggot Street area this week. Maybe they have heard about all the great new food places opening in Dublin and want in on the action?

2nd.Dublin Going Pink

This weekend is all about one thing both North and South of the border…The Giro. The whole city has been going pink in the race’s honour and this is one of the best examples.

1st.Country Cooking

Even though Pichet is one of the best restaurants in town their food has a lovely homely feel to it and this terrine (which you’ll have spotted in one of our boxes) looks like the perfect lunch dish!
