Oh yes, it’s that time of the year again.
The schools are heading back, the nights are getting longer and the Rose of Tralee is on the screens.
We were buzzing to see the first night of the iconic Irish programme back on our screens and in our minds, one rose has already got our vote.
Westmeath rose, Leanne Quinn told Dáithí Ó Sé that she was into the gym and when he asked her what she would consider “light” in terms of lifting she said “ah, 60/70kg.
And she put her money where her mouth was and told the host to hop on her back so she could show him her strength.
And fecking hell, she’s putting us to shame with this showcase.
Lifting Daithí, that has to be a first.
