Fancy a cheeky night out with your mates?

We’d be lying if we said we didn’t enjoy heading to a fab city centre bar to enjoy a tasty Gordon’s Gin.

And it just so happens that the Gordon’s Gin brand is celebrating an impressive 250 years in the gin business. Being a classic, go-to, juniper led gin, there’s no excuse not to catch-up with Gordon’s over the holidays.

And there are two gins we definitely think are going to tickle your fancy: London Dry Gin and Gordon’s Pink.

So, we decided to compile a list of some of the most fabulous bars to head to in Dublin to enjoy a gin-inspired night out with your pals.

Gin Palace

Naturally, Gin Palace makes for a stellar gin night out on the town.

The cocktail bar features a beautiful brass back counter and old Victorian decor, giving it a classy yet fun atmosphere.

Plus, they have the largest selection of gin in Dublin.

There are a couple of stunning Gordon’s options to order here. They serve up a gorgeous Tom Collins using Gordons as well as Gordon’s Pink with white lemonade, mint and fresh strawberries.

Bloody Mary’s

Bloody Mary’s is one of the most exciting additions Dublin has got as of late. Having opened in August this year, it has become a go-to spot for many people who enjoy a cheeky Gordon’s Gin and Tonic.

It’s a lovely chill spot to go enjoy a gin and maybe some food, but as the night progresses, it gets fairly lively.

While here, enjoy your Gordons G&T with some classic garnishes like blueberries or perhaps fresh strawberries.

The Wild Duck

Dublin got an exciting new addition last year with the arrival of The Wild Duck.

Located in Temple Bar, The Wild Duck describes itself as “the ever-changing cultural forum where you never know what’s next”. It’s an interesting mix of Irish pub traditions and retro/vintage themes, and the place is decked out in the most wonderfully magical decor all year round.

It’s definitely somewhere worth checking out and enjoying Gordon’s on your night out. Try a classic G&T with some mint when checking out this spot.

Dakota

Coining itself as ‘Dublin’s late-night party venue’, Dakota is one classy spot to have your night out with your pals.

Having opened on Dublin’s South William Street back in 2000, Dakota has solidified itself as one of the city’s most popular weekend venues. And with a gorgeous menu of bites and a wide selection of drinks, there’s something for everyone here.

And it just so happens that Dakota serves up a Pink Spritz made with Gordon’s Pink, lemonade and prosecco. They even have Gordon’s Gin trees, where you and your pals can get one gin each served up in the most extravagant way.

Berlin Bar

Berlin is an interesting entry on the list because it seems to be a different bar every time you go, which is what I love about it.

Sometimes it’s a chill spot for a quiet drink. Other times it’s a techno-lovers heaven.

For the most part, it’s a nice central spot to relax and enjoy a Gordon’s Gin and maybe stick around for when things get more upbeat late at night.

Although their neon sign reads, “soup of the day, vodka Redbull”, they do serve up a fab G&T. You’ll probably have a dance, so try your Gin and Tonic with refreshing garnishes such as orange peels.

Whelans

A favourite among music-lovers, Whelans is more than just a live music venue.

But, with a busy roster of gigs and events going on throughout the year, a night spent in Whelans is pretty much guaranteed to be a good time.

Whether you’re sitting back and chilling with Gordon’s gin or you’re on your feet dancing the night away, it’s truly one of the most beloved spots in the city. And while you’re here, why not enjoy a classic Gordons G&T with refreshing garnishes such as lemon and lime?
